“Andrew Giroux did an amazing job designing and building our outdoor, wood-fired pizza oven and patio project. He presented a plan and completed the job without a hitch. He gave us multiple choices of stone, stucco, and pavers to use, and helped us to decide on which colors would best compliment one another. He and his crew are professional, hardworking, honest, polite, and are very skilled craftsmen. Andrew is a stickler for perfection and detail, and constantly impresses the same on his crew. He is very knowledgeable regarding pizza ovens; you would be hard pressed to find anyone in Vermont with more understanding of the subject. Giroux Masonry took full advantage of the good-weather days, arriving early in the morning and working until after 5 P.M. just about every day that they were here; and then they drove 90 miles home! My wife and I were extremely pleased about how they cleaned up their work area, right down to grading and raking the lawn surrounding the pavers and new patio. We highly recommend Giroux Masonry.”

“This is the second time we have had Andrew and Giroux Masonry work for us. The first time was in 2004 when he built our three flue chimney using old brick for the interior work. When visitors come to our house they always comment on what a beautiful chimney we have. The chimney goes up about 20 feet inside and another 15 feet outside and draws very well. The fireplace is a Rumpford design with an arched top. Andrew was very easy to work with even when we made some design changes for the wood stove. The half wall he recommended is a wonderful heat sink. He did an outstanding job and we were very happy with his work back then. When we had some damage above the wood stove flue clean out we knew Andrew and Giroux Masonry were the people we wanted to do the work. His crew was very respectful, professional, and neat. They completed the work in a timely manner between cold snaps in May, finishing just in time for the next cold spell when we needed to use our wood stove. Andrew doesn't cut corners and is an outstanding craftsman in the true sense of the word. He is teaching his crew the ethics and craftmanship that so many people don't want to continue doing today. While we hope we don't need any more repairs in the future, we know Andrew and Giroux Masonry will be the people we will call if we do.”

They are meticulous and have lots of artistic skills. The cellar work is so beautiful, our visitors think we should consider it being an art gallery! I gave Andrew the 1903 drawings for the two chimneys from the renowned architect that built the house and Andrew was able to replicate it perfectly and worked with me to design two beautiful copper caps to put on top.
